Hmmmmmmmmmmm

So the group of ladies that I scrapbook with have been doing page sketch challenges both one page and double page layouts. I'm not really one for using page sketches but I figured that since I've been working on a book for my daughter for the last three years maybe this might actually help me get it done. I wouldn't exactly say I'm a procrastinator about this project its just that I get distracted with other projects. I think that I was a magpie or a raccoon in another life. Every time I see something shinny and new I want to try it out. Thats probably why I do so many mini albums. Either that or I have ADD. I was looking at my daughters scrapbook recently and I'm surprised at how much my style has changed in the last three years. Actually I've probably just been developing my style.(Yep that's my story and I'm sticking to it.)
Anyway this layout gave me a chance to use some Dusty Attic chipboard pieces. I just love the delicacy of that stuff. It's all laser cut and sooooooo detailed. I'm just in absolute awe of it ( ooops my magpie tendancies are starting to shine thru!)
Well this is the sketch..........

And this is my take on it..........

Of Course the fact that I can never leave any negative space shines through bright and clear. I had to add the clusters of flowers in the top and bottom corners because every time I looked at this layout it just about drove me crazy that these spaces were empty and needed filling!! :)
